Hi everyone – It’s Doug Riseden again. I’m the technical support manager for Krausz USA.

In this issue, I have some tips on tightening bolts on the EZ Max and the importance of ordering Krausz products by name.

Tightening bolts on EZ Max
On the EZ Max, make sure that you tighten the bolts starting from the inside and work your way towards the outside. Once the clamp is tightened, you can go right down the line to complete the tightening process.

Order Krausz products by name
Make sure that when you order Krausz products, you receive Krausz products. Many times, when people order a HYMAX, they will get a product that is the traditional Krausz/HYMAX blue and features a top-facing two-bolt closing mechanism – but it’s not a HYMAX from Krausz.

Make sure the product is authentic and not an imitation. Only HYMAX features hydraulic sealing through its patented gasket that self-inflates with flowing water pressure. This sealing enables continuous dynamic angular deflection which significantly decreases future breaks. HYMAX offers this and no one else.
