SUSTAINABILITY

KRAUSZ has been part of Mueller Water Products, Inc. since 2018.

KRAUSZ is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and of the products and solutions we offer while providing innovative products and services that help customers mitigate water-related climate risks, such as water retention, leaks and emergency repairs.

At KRAUSZ we manage our environmental footprint across four key areas: Emissions, energy, water and waste.

Our emissions primarily arise from the energy used to manufacture products.

Focusing on Lean methodologies, using more energy-efficient equipment and optimizing operational workflows are pivotal steps in driving emissions reductions.

KRAUSZ facility partially operates on solar power collected by the roof-mounted solar panels onsite. These panels contribute a portion of renewable energy to the total annual energy consumption at the facility, helping us reduce our carbon footprint.

The Mueller family of companies withdraws relatively little water for operations. However, we recognize our responsibility to further reduce water withdrawal and maximize efficiency.

Moreover, by using approximately 90% recycled metal for products, we promote circularity, reduce waste and prevent metals from entering landfills and junkyards.

Addressing our environmental impact, we have certified our products range under the International Environmental Product Declaration System.
